Job description

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Developing highly scalable cloud first solutions for the Solventum public and private platforms.
  • Understanding and enhancing complex data workflow at scale.
  • Ensuring reliability while achieving security and regulatory compliance.
  • Evaluating new technologies to improve platform capabilities.
  • Translating stakeholder needs into technical solutions to enhance patient outcomes and performance., Onboarding Requirement: To improve the onboarding experience, you will have an opportunity to meet with your manager and other new employees as part of the Solventum new employee orientation. As a result, new employees hired for this position will be required to travel to a designated company location for on-site onboarding during their initial days of employment. Travel arrangements and related expenses will be coordinated and paid for by the company in accordance with its travel policy. Applies to new hires with a start date of October 1st 2025 or later.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) AND five (5) years of experience in Software Development

OR

  • High School Diploma/GED AND nine (9) years of experience in Software Development

In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:

  • Four (4) years of enterprise design/development experience in Java and Python.
  • Four (4) years of experience with highly scalable AWS cloud solutions.
  • Three (3) years of experience developing relational and NoSQL solutions.
  • Two (2) years of experience working in an automated CI/CD environment.
  • Must have a T3 and T5 Public Trust security clearance.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Master’s degree in computer science or related field from an accredited institution.
  • Experience deploying cloud native solutions in a private, public, government or military environment.
  • Experience with projects that require StateRAMP/GovRAMP certification.
  • Proficient with Docker images, and containers.
  • Healthcare industry experience and familiarity with HL7 and FHIR.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment with strong test automation.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Ability to effectively communicate ideas, concepts, and information on both an end-user and technical level.

Benefits & conditions

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $124,000 - $170,500, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience. In addition, this position may be eligible for a range of benefits (e.g., Medical, Dental & Vision, Health Savings Accounts, Health Care & Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, Disability Benefits, Life Insurance, Voluntary Benefits, Paid Absences and Retirement Benefits, etc.).
