Workday Architect

The successful consultant will assess the current configuration, design scalable and efficient processes, and ensure that the system supports operational goals and governance standards., * Conduct a technical and functional assessment of the current Workday configuration to identify optimisation opportunities.

• Design and configure Workday solutions that align to business and operating model requirements across HR, Payroll, and Integrations.
• Lead on solution architecture, ensuring changes are scalable, efficient, and aligned with governance frameworks.
• Partner with HR, Finance, and IT to ensure configuration supports business outcomes and compliance.
• Develop and maintain documentation, configuration logs, and design standards.
• Provide hands-on configuration support across Core HCM, Compensation, Absence, and relevant Workday modules.
• Support testing, deployment, and knowledge transfer to internal teams.
• Advise on integration improvements and data flow optimisation.

• Proven experience as a Workday Architect or Senior Configuration Consultant within complex organisations.
• Strong knowledge across Core HCM, Payroll, and Integrations (including security and data model understanding).
• Ability to assess, design, and implement end-to-end process and configuration changes.
• Solid understanding of governance frameworks, release management, and environment strategy.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, comfortable working with HR, Finance, and IT leadership.
• Self-sufficient, hands-on, and able to deliver both strategic and tactical outcomes.
