Job description

Telecommunications System (BTS), delivering 24/7/365 operations and maintenance to ensure highly reliable voice, video, and data services. This includes operating and sustaining the base telephone switch, outside and inside plant infrastructure, and all associated systems, while furnishing all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, and vehicles required to install, maintain, and repair telecommunications capabilities across the installation.

The contractor executes customer work orders, maintains billing capability via Government Purchase Card (GPC), and ensures accurate system records and compliance with Air Force and DoD standards.

Additionally, the contractor supports mission-driven changes through infrastructure upgrades, network reconfigurations, and cabling installations, ensuring system resilience and providing flexible, responsive support during exercises and real-world events in coordination with the Communications Squadron., Available Positions:

  • Site Lead - Will be certified in the following BICSI credentials: BICSI Installer 1; Installer 2,Copper; Installer 2, Optical Fiber; Technician, OSP Credential, Switch make and model trained/certified.
  • Alternate Site Lead - Will be certified in Security Plus, The BICSI credentials required are BICSI Installer 1; Installer 2, Copper; Installer 2, Optical Fiber; Technician, OSP Credential, Switch make and model trained/certified.
  • Switch Technician - Will be certified in Security Plus, Switch make and model trained/certified.
  • Administrative Assistant - Requirements deemed by site lead
  • Cable Technician Tier One - The BICSI credentials required are, BICSI Installer 1; Optical Fiber; Technician, OSP Credential
  • Cable Technician Tier Two - The BICSI credentials required are BICSI Installer 1; Installer 2,Copper; Installer 2, Optical Fiber; Technician, OSP Credential
  • Cable Technician Tier Two - The BICSI credentials required are BICSI Installer 1; Installer 2,Copper; Installer 2, Optical Fiber; Technician, OSP Credential, Where driving may be required or where a rental car must be obtained for business travel purposes, applicants must have a valid driver license for this position and will be subject to verification. In addition, the applicant must pass an in-house, online, driving course to be authorized to drive for company purposes.

Requirements

  • Certified Antenna Installer/Technician - Must have a minimum of one year climbing experience, training and or training certificates in tower/rescue, First Aid/CPR, PPE use and requirements, Lockout Tag out, RF Awareness, Rigging, GHS (formally MSDS), Special equipment (aerial lift, forklift, Backhoe, capstan etc.)

  • Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to lift up to 10 to 25 pounds
  • Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
  • Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must currently hold a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at thislocation.
