Job description

An excellent opportunity to join our expanding Architectural team in Bristol. You will realise preliminary designs into buildable solutions across all aspects of architectural delivery, coordinate detailed information across all disciplines, and act as the first point of contact to the site delivery team. You will also address package procurement and programming, respond to technical queries, review sub-contractor information, attend and lead Design Team and Coordination Meetings, support the Contractor during the build, and report project status to management on a monthly basis., * Provide strong technical design support to project teams and deliver projects in accordance with client requirements.

  • Lead and coordinate Design Teams and sub-contractors; manage design deliverables and respond to technical queries.
  • Attend and lead Design Team and Coordination Meetings; liaise with clients and contractors; support procurement and programming activities.
  • Review sub-contractor information, conduct site inspections and condition surveys, monitor delivery, and identify proposed design changes that could impact fees or the project program; communicate changes to the Project Leader and support change controls.
  • Organize and coordinate Design Teams and sub-contractors; manage day-to-day delivery across project stages.
  • Work flexibly and independently as required in support of the Project Leader while managing your own time effectively.

Requirements

  • Ideally with Data Centre or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work well as part of an integrated design team; excellent attention to detail, efficiency and quality.
  • Strong communication skills with clients and professional delivery staff; able to work without direct supervision; ambitious and proactive.
  • Experience in coordinating design and technical information across disciplines, supporting procurement and programming, and responding to technical queries.
  • Capable of organizing and coordinating design teams and sub-contractors.
