Job description
- Ongoing engineering and automation initiatives focused on CyberArk and HashiCorp Secrets Vault environments.
- Team is responsible for designing, building, configuring, automating, and maintaining enterprise privileged access vaulting platforms.
- Focus on automation, scalability, resiliency, and operational health of vault ecosystems supporting large enterprise environments.
- Engineering-heavy role, not a traditional support or operations-only administration role.
- Environment includes:
- CyberArk
- HashiCorp Vault / Secrets Vault
- Terraform
- Ansible
- Linux
- IAM integrations
- PKI / certificate management
- Clustered infrastructure
- Enterprise-scale deployments
Core Responsibilities
- Design and implement next-generation privileged access management and secrets management solutions.
- Build and automate CyberArk and/or HashiCorp Vault infrastructure at enterprise scale.
- Deploy and configure vault platforms across thousands of nodes.
- Develop automation for provisioning, configuration management, monitoring, health checks, recovery, and maintenance.
- Integrate vault platforms with IAM directories and enterprise authentication systems.
- Perform application hardening, patching, resiliency planning, and recovery procedures.
- Support credential lifecycle management including:
- PKI certificates
- SSH keys/certificates
- Username/password management
- Build Infrastructure-as-Code solutions using Terraform and Ansible.
- Improve high availability, scalability, and operational resiliency of privileged access environments.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Terraform?, * Strong hands-on engineering experience with:
- CyberArk and/or HashiCorp Vault
- Terraform
- Ansible
- Proven automation experience at enterprise scale.
- Experience deploying and configuring vault components - not just operational maintenance.
- Strong Linux systems engineering background.
- Experience designing and implementing highly available clustered environments.
- Deep understanding of privileged access management and secrets management concepts.
- Experience integrating solutions with enterprise IAM directories.
- Strong understanding of:
- PKI
- SSH keys/certificates
- Secrets lifecycle management
- Application hardening
- Patching and recovery processes
- Experience deploying large-scale enterprise applications to thousands of servers/nodes.
- Strong troubleshooting and infrastructure automation skills.
- Ability to work in complex, regulated enterprise environments.
Strongly Preferred
- Experience with both CyberArk and HashiCorp Vault.
- Prior banking or large enterprise financial environment experience.
- Previous experience within highly regulated organizations.
- Experience building monitoring/health automation around vault ecosystems.
