Job description
This is an excellent opportunity for an Epic-certified analyst with pharmacy experience who enjoys solving complex problems, improving clinical workflows, and partnering with operational teams to get the most from Epic. You will work closely with pharmacy operations, clinical users, IT teams, and leadership on system configuration, optimization, upgrades, new builds, troubleshooting, and ongoing application support. Sr. Epic Willow Application Analyst Responsibilities:
- Analyze, design, build, configure, test, implement, and optimize Epic applications, with a primary focus on Willow Ambulatory
- Translate pharmacy, clinical, and operational requirements into effective Epic solutions
- Support ambulatory pharmacy workflows and technology across retail, specialty, home health, and related pharmacy environments
- Perform Epic builds, enhancements, upgrades, maintenance, testing, and system optimization
- Evaluate existing workflows and recommend technology and process improvements
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex Epic application and integration issues
- Support medication loads, pricing updates, insurance updates, and other pharmacy-related system requirements
- Partner with pharmacy staff, operational leaders, technical teams, and other stakeholders to identify needs and implement solutions
- Participate in new pharmacy builds and other implementation initiatives
- Coordinate assigned projects, priorities, schedules, testing, and implementation activities
- Provide ongoing application support and technical guidance to users and other analysts
- Develop documentation and contribute to user training and knowledge transfer
- Help establish and maintain application support, technical, and information management standards
Requirements
- Current Epic certification
- Approximately 4+ years of experience working directly with Healthcare Information Systems, including system analysis, design, configuration, testing, implementation, or application support
- Previous Epic or comparable healthcare information systems experience
- Experience supporting and troubleshooting complex application issues
- Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively across technical and operational teams
- Strong communication, collaboration, organization, and customer service skills
