Job description

Join our dynamic team in the banking industry as a Power Platform Developer. In this role, you will be instrumental in transforming our current processes by developing a robust solution using Power Platform technologies. Your main focus will be on migrating data from MS Excel to a SharePoint lists format, establishing a sustainable process for future data management., * Develop Solutions: Design and build an FTE ‘database’ using SharePoint lists, ensuring seamless data accessibility and management.

  • Automate Processes: Create and implement Power Automate flows to handle change requests raised by the business, enhancing operational efficiency.
  • Reporting: Utilize Power BI to develop comprehensive reporting functionalities that provide insightful analytics to stakeholders.
  • Simplify Architecture: Identify and eliminate barriers to data analysis by automating processes and streamlining legacy systems.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Actively contribute to process enhancements by gathering feedback and insights from stakeholders to refine solutions.
  • Agile Methodology: Work collaboratively in an agile environment, adapting to evolving project needs and delivering high-quality results.

Requirements

  • Power Platform Expertise: Hands-on experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI is essential. You should possess a strong understanding of Power Platform services.
  • Stakeholder Engagement Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively engage and collaborate with colleagues across all levels of the organization.
  • Data Presentation: Proficiency in presenting complex data insights through reports, visualizations, and presentations.
  • Clear Communication: Ability to convey data insights and recommendations clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
  • Creative Problem Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to tackle unique data challenges with innovative solutions.
  • Automation Knowledge: A solid understanding of automation principles and their benefits, with practical experience in previous roles or personal projects.

Benefits & conditions

Duration: Up until 31 December 2025 (Possibility for extension). Location: Leeds/Hybrid (2 days on site). Rate: A highly competitive Umbrella Day Rate or Salary is available for suitable candidates.
