Job description

We are looking for a highly skilled Technology Lead with deep expertise in Liferay DXP, enterprise application architecture, and end-to-end software delivery. In this role, you will collaborate closely with key business stakeholders, guide technical teams, and shape enterprise-grade solutions that are secure, scalable, and high-performing.

You will drive architectural decisions, support requirement discovery, ensure engineering excellence, and act as the primary technical liaison between onshore and offshore teams. Liferay & Portal Development

  • Develop high-quality applications and pipelines for secure, reliable Liferay DXP / Portal operations.
  • Serve as SME for application development and coding best practices.
  • Perform Liferay Portal administration: Organizations, Sites, User Groups, Roles.
  • Implement configurable portal experiences per user and organization.
  • Configure and manage organizations/sites, user imports, and staff movements.
  • Integrate backend data/services through API Gateway.
  • Apply routing and load balancing concepts across end-to-end architecture.
  • Configure ElasticSearch, indexing, schedulers, and performance optimisation.
  • Design and deliver advanced content management for authenticated/guest users.
  • Implement web content management and content audience targeting.

Project Delivery & Leadership

  • Engage in client communication and manage onshore-offshore coordination.
  • Understand business requirements and provide clarifications to development teams.
  • Own analysis, design, development, and unit testing deliverables.
  • Uphold high standards of code quality, performance, and security.
  • Support agile delivery frameworks and work independently with minimal supervision.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of Liferay DXP 7.3+ development
  • 3+ years of Kaleo Workflow
  • 5+ years of Java development
  • 5+ years of RESTful Web Services
  • 5+ years of JDBC & basic Hibernate
  • 5+ years of Spring (annotations, concepts)
  • Strong front-end skills: HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, jQuery
  • Oracle DB experience: Stored Procedures, Functions, Triggers, Cursors
  • 8+ years overall IT experience
  • 5+ years hands-on engineering experience in agile SDLC environments
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Proven ability to work independently and deliver results in complex environments
  • Excellent communication skills - technical and business-facing
