Microservices Developer

As a Microservices Developer within our CIO Technology Engineering team, you will design, build, and maintain scalable, secure and maintainable microservices-based applications.

You will work closely with senior engineers, architects and cross-functional scrum teams, participate in agile ceremonies, review code and support junior developers.

You will contribute to technical discussions, architectural decisions and community of practice sharing and drive continuous improvement., * Design, develop and maintain Java-based microservices in a commercial environment.

• Apply engineering best practices and standards, ensuring code quality and performance.
• Collaborate with agile delivery teams, participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives and reviews.
• Mentor and support junior developers, promote good coding practices.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve issues, taking ownership of deliverables.
• Share learnings through the community of practice, adopt new technologies to drive innovation.

• Proven experience building Java microservices.
• Experience working on agile delivery teams with iterative development.
• Understanding of architectural principles and ability to contribute to technical discussions.
