Job description

We are seeking an experienced Business Consultant and Data Analyst to support company-wide system implementation, business process improvement, data analysis, and project management initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have strong business analysis and project management skills, with the ability to evaluate current processes, analyze business needs, work with cross-functional teams, and translate business objectives into actionable plans. This role also requires the ability to analyze, visualize, and automate data processes and effectively communicate project status and recommendations to stakeholders.

  1. Core responsibilities. * Support company-wide system implementation and business process improvement projects by evaluating current work processes and executing improvement strategies. * Analyze, visualize, and automate data and business processes, working independently or in collaboration with cross-functional teams. * Evaluate business needs and perform quantitative and qualitative analyses to support project proposals, recommendations, and evaluation results. * Lead business requirements gathering and maintain comprehensive project documentation. * Develop and maintain processes to efficiently manage, monitor, and track project deliverables, milestones, and action items. * Manage relationships, requirements, and expectations of both internal and external stakeholders. * Lead project team meetings and communicate project status, progress, risks, issues, and next steps. * Support cross-functional initiatives involving business operations, systems, data analysis, and process improvement. * Prepare reports, presentations, analyses, and other business materials using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for internal and external audiences. * Identify opportunities to improve existing business processes and support the implementation of practical and effective solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) in Business, Finance, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience working as a Data Analyst, Business Analyst, Project Manager, Business Consultant, or in a process improvement role.
  • Korean language proficiency is strongly preferred.
  • Strong project and program management skills, including experience initiating activities, setting priorities, managing multiple priorities, and delivering results on time.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, navigating ambiguity, and managing competing priorities.
  • Ability to quickly learn new business processes and effectively represent business requirements on behalf of business owners.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business goals into actionable plans and drive initiatives from planning through execution.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment to achieve team objectives and complete assignments within established deadlines.
  • Ability to quickly understand new topics, businesses, systems, and processes through research and interviews with subject matter experts.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly when working across sales, operations, logistics, systems, and financial functions.
  • Strong organizational and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience using data visualization, automation, and analytics tools is preferred but not required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Willingness to work in the office in accordance with company guidelines and travel up to 10%.

Benefits & conditions

Pay range is $38-$45 per hour with full benefits available, including paid time off, medical/dental/vision/life insurance, 401K, parental leave, and more. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. Pay is based on several factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
