Functional ERP Engineer - Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central

We are looking for an experienced Functional ERP Engineer with extensive expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central to lead, coordinate, and support complex multi-company ERP implementations. You will play a key role in ensuring successful rollouts, optimizing business processes, and providing functional guidance to stakeholders across multiple business entities.

Working closely with business users, project managers, technical consultants, and external partners, you will translate business requirements into scalable Business Central solutions while ensuring a smooth adoption across the organization., * Coordinate and manage the functional implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central across multiple companies and legal entities.

• Lead end-to-end ERP rollout projects, from requirements gathering through deployment and post-go-live support.
• Analyze business processes and translate them into functional Business Central solutions.
• Configure and maintain Business Central in alignment with business requirements and best practices.
• Act as the primary functional expert for Business Central within the organization.
• Collaborate with technical teams to define, test, and validate custom developments and integrations.
• Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) and support change management activities.
• Develop functional documentation, process flows, and user training materials.
• Provide second-line functional support and troubleshoot complex ERP issues.
• Ensure consistency of business processes across multiple companies while respecting local operational requirements.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and ERP optimization.

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience coordinating, deploying, and supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central in a multi-company environment.
• Proven experience leading functional ERP implementation projects from analysis through go-live and support.
• Strong knowledge of Business Central modules, including Finance, Sales, Purchasing, Inventory, Manufacturing, and/or Warehousing.
• Experience working with multiple legal entities, intercompany processes, and standardized ERP rollouts.
• Excellent understanding of business processes and ERP best practices.
• Experience coordinating with external implementation partners and internal stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in an international environment.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps).
• Familiarity with Azure services and Business Central integrations.
• Knowledge of Agile or hybrid project methodologies.
• Experience with data migration, testing strategies, and change management.
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant certification is considered a strong asset.
