Job description

  • Develop tools and automation to support front end verification, lint, synthesis and package generation

  • Work closely with members of the Design Automation, Verification and Development teams to collaboratively solve problems and build solutions

  • Provide support to our global engineering organization

Requirements

  • BS or MS degree in electrical or computer engineering or closely related degree strongly preferred; but substantial, relevant, outstanding work experience may substitute in some cases

  • 5-10 years of experience working as a HW/SW engineer or related field

  • Proficiency with object-oriented programming methodologies

  • Proficiency with SystemVerilog, Verilog

  • Proficiency with Python, Tcl, Perl, and Bash

  • Understanding of CDC and RDC concepts

  • Experience creating automation for front end design EDA tools

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

In this role, you will be working with some of the brightest inventors and engineers in the world developing products that make data faster and safer. As a HW/SW Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in developing front end design automation flows and supporting a global Digital IP development team. In this full-time role, you’ll report directly to our Design Automation Manager. Our Design Automation group is dedicated to building and supporting world class tools and automation, and your contributions will be instrumental in supporting ongoing automation work and support.
