Job description
For a leading Belgian insurer, we’re looking for a Functional Analyst who thrives at the intersection of business and IT. You’ll play a key role in shaping and improving digital services used daily by brokers, customers, and internal teams.
This is an opportunity to work on impactful digital transformation initiatives, collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders, and help deliver solutions that make a real difference.
What you’ll do
Analyse business needs and translate them into clear functional requirements. Act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams. Prepare functional analyses, user stories, features, and supporting documentation. Conduct impact and gap analyses to support informed decision-making. Align project scope and priorities with stakeholders across the organisation. Support testing activities and act as a functional reference during validation phases. Help ensure consistency, quality, and best practices throughout the development lifecycle. Contribute to the continuous improvement of digital channels and customer-facing services.
Requirements
Master’s degree in IT or equivalent experience. Experience as a Functional Analyst, Business Analyst, or a similar role combining business and technical expertise. Strong analytical skills with a structured and solution-oriented mindset. Experience working in Agile environments. Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Enterprise Architect, and test management solutions like Zephyr. Comfortable collaborating with both business and technical stakeholders. Able to challenge requirements constructively and drive consensus. Fluent in Dutch or French and good understanding of the other Fluency in English
