Job description

Are you passionate about functional analysis, solution design, and insurance business processes? Then this position is for you.

As a Functional Analyst, you will be responsible for translating business requirements into robust IT solutions and ensuring the successful delivery and stability of applications supporting Life Insurance activities.

Build side:

  • Analyze high-level business requirements and transform them into detailed functional specifications.
  • Design end-to-end IT solutions covering user interfaces, business processes, and database impacts.
  • Collaborate with Business, IS Project Managers, developers, testers, and other stakeholders to define solution scope and milestones.
  • Contribute to functional and technical solution design within a complex insurance ecosystem.
  • Prepare functional integration test scenarios and define the overall testing approach.
  • Review solution implementation to ensure compliance with business requirements and design specifications.
  • Support technical teams by clarifying requirements and validating proposed implementations.

Run side:

  • Monitor application stability and support operational continuity.
  • Analyze production incidents and coordinate corrective actions with relevant teams.
  • Perform functional validation of delivered solutions before business release.
  • Execute SQL queries and review COBOL source code when required to investigate issues.
  • Maintain functional documentation and ensure knowledge transfer to operational teams.
  • Report progress, risks, and dependencies to project stakeholders.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across applications and processes.

Requirements

You have at least 5 years of experience as a Functional Analyst in a complex IT environment. You are comfortable working with both business and technical stakeholders and have experience delivering large-scale business applications.

Experience in the insurance or banking sector is mandatory, with strong knowledge of contract management and administrative systems.
