Job description

eQube Consultants is looking for an HR Systems Analyst to join our team in Colmore Row, Birmingham. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing, improving, and supporting the digital systems used for recruitment, employee administration, and HR reporting.

This role is ideal for an analytical professional with experience in HR processes and a strong interest in technology. You will work closely with recruitment, human resources, payroll, IT, and consulting teams to ensure that systems are reliable, accurate, and easy to use., * Manage and support HR information systems and recruitment platforms.

  • Configure workflows, user permissions, forms, and automated notifications.
  • Ensure employee and candidate data is complete, accurate, and up to date.
  • Produce regular reports on hiring, turnover, absence, diversity, and workforce numbers.
  • Analyse HR processes and identify opportunities for automation and improvement.
  • Support the implementation of new modules, system updates, and integrations.
  • Work with the payroll team to verify the accuracy of employee data.
  • Provide user support and resolve technical or operational system issues.

  • Maintain HR dashboards and key performance indicators.
  • Coordinate with external system providers on technical issues and updates.

Requirements

  • At least 2-4 years of experience in HR systems, HR operations, people analytics, or a similar role.
  • Practical experience with HRIS, ATS, or workforce-management platforms.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and lookup functions.
  • Ability to analyse HR data and prepare clear reports.
  • Understanding of recruitment, onboarding, employee administration, and payroll processes.
  • Strong ability to identify and resolve system and data-quality issues.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong communication skills when working with technical and non-technical users.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • A degree or professional qualification in human resources, information systems, business analytics, or a related field is preferred.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, BambooHR, or similar platforms.
  • Knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, or other data-visualisation tools.

  • Understanding of UK data-protection requirements and GDPR.
  • Experience configuring automated workflows.
  • Familiarity with system integrations and data transfers.
  • Experience creating recruitment and HR dashboards.
  • Basic knowledge of UK payroll processes.

Mindset

You are analytical, accurate, and focused on continuous improvement. You do not simply maintain a working system; you look for ways to make it more efficient, reliable, and user-friendly.

You understand the importance of data quality and recognise that even a small error can affect recruitment, payroll, and workforce-planning decisions. You can manage competing priorities, communicate clearly, and take ownership of resolving problems.

Benefits & conditions

Pay: £2,700.00-£3,000.00 per month
