Job description

Our client is seeking an HRIS Analyst II responsible for the configuration, maintenance, optimization, and support of enterprise Human Resources Information Systems. This role serves as a key liaison between HR, Payroll, IT, Benefits, and business stakeholders to ensure HR technology solutions effectively support organizational objectives., * Configure, maintain, and enhance HRIS platforms such as Oracle, SAP, Workday, UKG, or similar systems.

  • Support HR modules including payroll, benefits, timekeeping, talent management, and employee records.
  • Create and modify workflows, system configurations, and security roles.
  • Manage system upgrades, patches, testing, and implementations.
  • Perform data audits, reconciliation, and root-cause analysis to ensure data integrity.
  • Develop standard and ad hoc reports for HR leadership and operational teams.
  • Utilize reporting and analytics tools such as SQL, Power BI, Crystal Reports, or native HRIS reporting tools.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes through automation and system optimization.
  • Provide end-user training, documentation, and technical support.
  • Partner with HR, Payroll, Benefits, Compensation, IT, and business leaders to resolve issues and enhance system functionality.
  • Ensure HR processes and data remain compliant with applicable regulations, reporting requirements, and internal policies.
  • Participate in projects related to system enhancements, upgrades, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Technical & Functional Experience

  • Experience administering and supporting enterprise HRIS platforms such as Oracle, SAP, Workday, UKG, or similar systems.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes, including payroll, benefits administration, timekeeping, recruiting, talent management, and employee data management.
  • Experience creating and maintaining:
  • System workflows
  • Security roles and permissions
  • Custom fields and data structures
  • Configuration changes and system enhancements
  • Experience supporting upgrades, patches, testing cycles, and system implementations.

Data Management & Reporting

  • Experience conducting data audits and reconciliation activities.
  • Ability to investigate and resolve data discrepancies through root-cause analysis.
  • Strong reporting and analytics skills.
  • Experience using tools such as:
  • SQL
  • Power BI
  • Crystal Reports
  • HRIS reporting applications

Process Improvement

  • Demonstrated ability to identify inefficiencies and implement technology-driven solutions.
  • Experience with:
  • Workflow automation
  • Onboarding process improvements
  • Benefits enrollment optimization
  • Timekeeping enhancements
  • Employee and manager self-service functionality
  • Proven track record of reducing manual processes and increasing operational efficiency.

  • Ability to work effectively with:
  • HR teams
  • Payroll
  • IT departments
  • Benefits and Compensation teams
  • Business leaders and department managers
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into user-friendly guidance.

  • Understanding of HR compliance requirements, including:
  • FLSA
  • EEO reporting
  • Records retention requirements
  • Internal audit standards
