Job description

About the Role: Liverpool is legendary for its vibrant culture and creative grit, and at SpiderWicket Digital Ltd, we bring that same energy to every web product we build. We believe digital experiences should be fast, flawless, and visually captivating. We are looking for a Frontend Developer who can turn complex UI/UX designs into responsive, production-ready code. You aren’t just writing scripts; you are crafting the layer of technology that users touch and see every single day. You will work side-by-side with designers and backend engineers, bridging the gap between imaginative layouts and seamless browser performance. You are the champion for speed, interactivity, and pixel-perfect design.

Why Work With Us?

  • The Environment: Located in the heart of Liverpool, our modern space is built for collaboration, deep focus, and great coffee.
  • Engineering Standards: We don’t need you to convince us that clean code matters. We know it does. You will work with scalable component architectures from Day 1.
  • Modern Stack: We build primarily with React, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and modern CSS frameworks, pairing with REST and GraphQL APIs.
  • Growth: We support continuous learning with dedicated budgets for training, courses, and tech conferences to keep your frontend skills sharp., * Component Ownership: Develop, maintain, and scale high-performance React component libraries and UI systems.
  • End-to-End Delivery: Transform wireframes and Figma designs into responsive, accessible, and fluid digital applications.
  • Performance Optimization: Ensure site architecture is tuned for maximum speed, accessibility (WCAG), and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner directly with backend engineers, designers, and project managers to ship features smoothly.
  • Quality & Best Practices: Write maintainable code, conduct thorough code reviews, and integrate RESTful APIs seamlessly.

Requirements

What We Are Looking For:

  • Experience: 2+ years of hands-on experience in Frontend Development building web applications.
  • Code & Tooling: Strong mastery of React.js, modern JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS frameworks (Tailwind, SASS, or CSS Modules).
  • Version Control: Solid workflow with Git and collaborative development pipelines.
  • Design Sensitivity: A sharp eye for UI/UX detail-you care deeply about layout precision, micro-interactions, and mobile responsiveness.
  • Mindset: Pragmatic problem solver with strong communication skills who thrives in a supportive, team-first environment.
