Datacentre Solutions Architect

We are currently looking for a customer minded Solutions Architect with deep knowledge of Datacentre Infrastructure to support the business in achieving its objectives.

The Solutions Architect Datacentre is a technology driven specialist, focused on solutions but with in-depth product knowledge, who can build and maintain client relationships using technical expertise to sales staff and the customer through sales presentations and product demonstrations in Datacentre solutions. This person is also seen as a trusted technical advisor to the client and will lead technical opportunities while being responsible for solution designs and collaborate with the rest of the Go-To market teams to develop business, portfolio and strategies. This role will provide technical support and expertise in analysing client requirements, in conjunction with the client’s current data centre capabilities and ensure complex solutions will accomplish the clients business objectives.

What will you do:

• Create detailed design and implementation specifications for complex products/applications/solutions
• Contribute to business development: prepare detailed product specifications for the development and implementation of customer products/applications/solutions
• Participate in and/or lead scope of work definition.
• Understand the client’s environment and its technical and business needs.
• Identifies and evaluates alternative architectures and the trade-offs in cost, performance, and scalability.
• Assist and/or Support hardware and software quotations with account teams.
• Understand the services offering of NTT and position our portfolio at our clients
• Monitors the evolution on the market to gather intelligence on emerging technologies.
• Creates reports and technology roadmaps and shares knowledge and insights with others.
• Reviews, verifies, and improves own designs against changing specifications.
• Contribute to the development of new go to market services and contributes knowledge on relevant verticals.
• Operate across both the technical levels within the enterprise architecture and the value chain in order to develop holistic and integrated solutions.

• Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science, or relevant expertise
• Multi-disciplinary IT background, in a large infrastructure outsourcing environment
• Relevant vendor certifications (Dell EMC, Cisco, IBM, HPE, VMWare, Nutanix, AWS, Azure, Veeam…)
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Thorough experience in Datacentre products and understanding of industry best practices
• Proven pre-sales experience
• Interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain solid stakeholder relationships
• Ability to develop and leverage their knowledge of reference architectures
• Ability to maintain knowledge of trends and development in technology domains
• Fluent English, next to Dutch and/or French
