Job description

The mission of the team is simple: to make everyone’s work within the organization easier and more meaningful through process automation and optimization. In this role, you develop and maintain business applications, data-driven solutions, and automated workflows that make our operational processes more efficient, reliable, and scalable.

  • You design solutions that:
  • process data,
  • automate processes,
  • support users,
  • and intelligently connect different systems.

You work closely with internal stakeholders, IT colleagues, and international teams.

Your responsibilities:

  • Develop Python scripts, tools, and automations for data processing, reporting, and operational efficiency
  • Build solutions on the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse)
  • Develop, manage, and enhance internal applications
  • Analyze manual processes and transform them into sustainable digital workflows
  • Integrate applications and data sources within the Microsoft ecosystem, particularly through APIs
  • Gather business requirements and propose innovative, tailored solutions
  • Develop tools and reports while proactively suggesting improvements to save time and increase process reliability
  • Lead development projects related to automation
  • Ensure documentation, testing, maintenance, and continuous improvement of solutions
  • Contribute to discussions on architecture, governance, security, and future technology choices
  • Collaborate with teams in Belgium, at headquarters, and across other entities to deploy solutions The diversity of assignments and stakeholders makes this position dynamic, varied, and rich in development opportunities.

Requirements

You have a Data Automation Analyst profile or are generally very comfortable with data and automation. You combine accuracy with a strong analytical mindset, which is essential given the complexity and volume of data. In a nutshell:

  • Degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Technical skills: Linux, Python, SQL, Power Apps, Power Automate
  • Additional assets: Linux Shell, PowerShell, Git, Snowflake, Power BI, computer networking, API integrations, CI/CD, or deployment experience
  • Soft skills: Attention to detail, analytical thinking, ability to explain complex information in simple terms, strong communication skills, autonomy, and initiative
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years (industry experience is not important)
  • Good command of Dutch and excellent English communication skills. French would be an advantage but is not required.
