Job description

We’re hiring a contract Salesforce Developer/Architect to work directly with AM Law and global law firms on complex CRM builds, integrations, and data migrations. You’ll translate sophisticated business requirements into clean, scalable technical solutions - and you’ll do it in an industry where the margin for error is low and the stakes are high.

This is not a configuration role. You will write Apex, build LWCs, design integration architecture, and own technical quality end-to-end.

What You’ll Do

  • Design scalable Salesforce architectures for complex legal CRM use cases
  • Build custom functionality: Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, declarative tools
  • Integrate Salesforce with legal tech platforms (InterAction, Foundation, Intapp) via REST/SOAP APIs and middleware (MuleSoft, Boomi, Jitterbit)
  • Lead data modeling, migration strategy, and data quality frameworks for large deployments
  • Optimize SOQL queries, governor limit management, and batch processing performance
  • Manage deployments across environments using Salesforce DX, change sets, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Produce architecture diagrams, API specs, and deployment documentation
  • Collaborate directly with law firm stakeholders, functional consultants, and IT teams

Requirements

Do you have experience in Version control?, * 3+ years of hands-on Salesforce development with a proven track record of custom solutions

  • Experience in legal services, professional services, or financial services
  • Portfolio that includes custom development, integrations, and data migrations at scale

Salesforce Technical Skills

  • Platform Developer I Certification (required)
  • Expert Apex: triggers, classes, batch apex, async processing
  • Lightning Web Components and/or Aura for custom UI development
  • Salesforce data model, SOQL/SOSL, and governor limits (deep knowledge, not just familiarity)
  • Salesforce APIs: REST, SOAP, Bulk, Metadata
  • Version control (Git) and deployment tools (Salesforce DX, change sets, ANT)
  • Salesforce security model: sharing rules, object/field-level security, platform encryption

General Technical Skills

  • JavaScript, HTML, CSS - comfortable in modern web frameworks
  • SQL and relational database design
  • API authentication: OAuth, JWT, SAML
  • DevOps and CI/CD familiarity

Preferred Qualifications

  • Additional Salesforce certifications: Platform Developer II, App Builder, Application Architect, System Architect, Integration Architecture, or Data Architecture
  • JavaScript Developer I Certification
  • Direct law firm or Big 4/professional services firm experience
  • Familiarity with legal-specific CRM platforms: InterAction, Foundation, Intapp
  • Experience with data warehousing and ETL tools
  • Cloud platform exposure: AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Agile/Scrum experience in sprint-based delivery

Benefits & conditions
