Job description
We are seeking a highly experienced Sr. Salesforce Architect to lead the design, development, and delivery of enterprise Salesforce solutions within a complex and highly regulated environment. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise across Salesforce Health Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Data Cloud platforms, along with strong architectural leadership and hands-on technical capabilities.
This role requires a strategic thinker who can collaborate with business stakeholders, lead technical teams, and design scalable, secure, and high-performing Salesforce ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end Salesforce solution architecture and technical design activities aligned with business objectives and enterprise standards
- Architect and implement scalable Salesforce Health Cloud solutions, including patient/member data models, care plans, clinical workflows, and related integrations
- Design, develop, and optimize Salesforce Experience Cloud portals for customers, partners, and internal users
- Implement Salesforce Data Cloud solutions for data ingestion, harmonization, identity resolution, analytics, and unified customer experiences
- Define and oversee integration strategies using REST APIs, middleware platforms, and third-party enterprise systems
- Ensure adherence to Salesforce best practices related to security, scalability, governance, and performance optimization
- Provide technical leadership across development teams, including code reviews, mentoring, and architecture governance
- Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
- Support CI/CD processes, deployment planning, release management, and production support activities
- Maintain compliance with security and regulatory requirements, including healthcare and data privacy standards such as HIPAA
Requirements
Do you have experience in Technical writing within technology?, * 12+ years of overall Salesforce experience, including 5+ years in a Salesforce Architect role
- Strong hands-on expertise with Salesforce Health Cloud implementations
- Proven experience designing and implementing Salesforce Experience Cloud solutions
- Solid experience with Salesforce Data Cloud, including data modeling, integration, and customer data unification
- Deep understanding of Salesforce architecture, security model, sharing rules, and data management best practices
- Strong technical expertise in:
- Apex
- Lightning Web Components (LWC)
- Salesforce Flows
- Declarative development tools
- REST APIs and integrations
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and technical documentation skills
- Ability to lead architecture discussions, design reviews, and technical governance sessions
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Agencyforce is highly preferred
- Salesforce certifications such as:
- Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA)
- Salesforce Certified System Architect
- Salesforce Certified Application Architect
- Health Cloud Accredited Professional
- Prior experience supporting healthcare, life sciences, insurance, or other regulated industries
- Experience with Salesforce DevOps and CI/CD tools such as Copado, Gearset, Jenkins, and Git
Additional Information
- Remote role with occasional travel to Reston, VA
- U.S. Citizenship is required
- Candidate must be eligible to obtain Federal Security Clearance, * as Salesforce Architect: 5 years (Required)
