Job description

  • Develop, analyze, and optimize sonar and underwater acoustic systems.
  • Conduct acoustic measurements, testing, and data analysis.
  • Analyze acoustic signals and support sonar performance evaluation.
  • Develop and validate acoustic models and simulation methods.
  • Troubleshoot technical and performance issues related to sonar systems.
  • Prepare technical reports, documentation, and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with engineering and R&D teams on acoustic projects.
  • Support system testing, validation, and performance improvement activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Acoustics, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven professional experience in Sonar, Underwater Acoustics, Hydroacoustics, or Acoustic Engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of acoustic measurements and signal processing.
  • Experience with acoustic modeling/simulation tools is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good command of English.
  • Willingness to relocate to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia., * Experience with military/naval sonar systems.
  • Experience with underwater acoustic sensors and transducers.
  • Knowledge of MATLAB, Python, or similar technical tools.
  • Experience in R&D, testing, and system validation.
