Job description

The Solution Architect for PLM ontologies and Digital Twins is accountable for analyzing demands, architecture and designing comprehensive solutions that meet business requirements and defines solution architecture in line within SHS architecture principles

  • Orchestrates IT solutions from several IT services and ensures efficient and seamless solutions are provided across local operations and/or external providers
  • Is responsible for the secure design of systems and solutions

Your tasks and responsibilities:

  • Define and establish a digital ecosystem based on Teamcenter as a PLM data backbone and SAP as an ERP system using ontologies and knowledge graphs
  • Define data acquisition strategy in PLM, SCM and CS environments to realize business use cases provided by stakeholders
  • Align strategies with business stakeholders and enterprise IT architects, drive realization in agile team setup
  • Drive feasibility, risk assessments and realization together with relevant stakeholders (e.g. Business SME, Product Manager, Product Owner)

Requirements

  • You have a degree in computer science, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or a comparable qualification
  • You are able to derive technical requirements, define problem space and drive solution space definition and exploration
  • You have knowledge of ontology modelling and connection of different data sources by state of the art data exchange technologies, e.g. Message Broker, event streaming (e.g. KAFKA), Cloud technologies, etc.
  • You are familiar with agentic AI
  • You have experience in Teamcenter, simulation tools, knowledge graphs, processing and visualization of data and results
  • You have experience of working in a multinational and multicultural team setup
  • You are very familiar in processes used in PLM and SCM
  • You have 6-8 years of working experience as a solution or SW Architect
  • You are very outcome oriented

Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

If this is a commission eligible position the commission eligibility will be in accordance with the terms of the Company’s plan. Commissions are based on individual performance and/or company performance.
