IT Software Development and Customer Support Engineer

• Develop, maintain, and enhance software applications using C#, Java and Python.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve software issues reported by users.
• Provide customer support through help-desk channels (email, phone, ticketing system).
• Conduct user training, product demonstrations, and presentations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
• Document issues, resolutions, and processes clearly.
• Participate in product improvement discussions based on feedback.

GlobalWafers is seeking a highly motivated Software Engineer to join our team full-time, physically located at the GlobalWafers America facility in Sherman, TX. In this hands-on role, you will focus on software development using C#, Java, and Python, while also delivering training and end-to-end solution implementation across multiple software platforms. The ideal candidate is a technically proficient developer with strong problem-solving skills, an excellent communicator, and the confidence to interact directly with customers and stakeholders., * 1 to 5 years of professional experience in C# development. Java and Python hand-on experience is plus.

• Experience with AI coding tools like Cursor, Antigravity, and Claude Code.
• Solid understanding of software development principles.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong presentation abilities and user training experience.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be willing to relocate locally for onsite work.
• Willing to travel as business requires.Preferred Qualifications
• Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) certification.
• Knowledge of performance tuning tools and methodologies.
• PostgreSQL administration skills a plus.
