1. Role Objectives

As a Product Owner, you will play a crucial role in shaping the direction of our traceability platform. Your mission will involve translating client needs and business priorities into a clear product roadmap and backlog, working closely with engineering and business development teams to deliver features that meet both technical and business requirements.

You will interact directly with customers to help them structure and express their needs, guiding them on complex topics related to environmental attribute traceability, regulatory compliance and ESG data. You will work in an Agile environment where your contributions directly influence the success and direction of the company.

1. Responsibilities

In this role, your responsibilities will include:

• Defining and maintaining a product roadmap and backlog that align with business and regulatory requirements.
• Interacting directly with clients to gather, refine, and help them articulate their specific needs. Providing expert guidance to clients on complex issues regarding energy origin, ESG data traceability, and regulatory compliance.
• Managing client projects end-to-end and acting as the bridge between external users and internal technical teams.
• Ensuring the clarity and readiness of user stories and functional specifications ahead of each sprint.
• Collaborating closely with engineering and business development teams to deliver features that meet both technical and business requirements.

• Strong analytical skills and a detail-oriented mindset.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across technical, commercial, and regulatory stakeholders.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and a passion for building innovative solutions. Experience working in an Agile product environment.

4.2 Technical Skills

• Product Management / Product Ownership +7 years of experience
• Backlog & roadmap management
• User story & functional spec writing
• Stakeholder management
• Hands-on use of AI tools
• Experience with energy markets.

Additional experience in ESG Additional experience in ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) or regulatory-compliance topics is highly valuable.

4.3 Specific Requirements for the Product Owner Role

• Proven experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager, ideally in B2B SaaS or energy company.
• Deep knowledge of Agile product delivery and backlog management practices.
• Proficiency in translating complex regulatory or technical requirements into clear, actionable specifications.
• Participating in the creation of thought leadership pieces
• Experience working directly with clients to gather and validate requirements.
• Proven ability to write clear, structured user stories and acceptance criteria.
