Will you contribute to this as Platform Engineer Datacenter Networking? How will you keep the Netherlands running? As Platform Engineer Datacenter Networking, you are responsible for implementing initiatives to improve the availability and performance of the IT infrastructure, ensuring that the Netherlands can continue to rely on reliable, affordable and sustainable energy. You will be working in the Datacenter Networking team, consisting of 12 colleagues. In addition, you will be responsible for:

• Performing administrative and operational tasks on the (network) infrastructure.
• Monitoring and safeguarding the availability and performance of the (network) infrastructure.
• Investigating and resolving (complex) 2nd- and 3rd-line incidents in the (network) infrastructure.
• Writing change proposals and problem reports in response to incidents and planned changes. Digital & Technology Transformation (DTT) is TenneT’s digital backbone. The division makes smart use of data, technology, and AI to optimise grid utilisation and strengthen decision-making. DTT delivers integrated and secure digital, technology, and data services that contribute to efficiency, innovation, safety, and compliance. The division supports business processes and workplaces with IT, develops data and integration platforms, and manages our infrastructure and cybersecurity. In this way, DTT accelerates TenneT’s transformation into a digital TSO. Therefore, we ask for, This role falls under the function profile IT Specialist , ensuring clarity for both you and TenneT regarding the responsibilities, expectations and growth opportunities associated with this position.

• A completed HBO+ degree in Computer Science.
• Proven experience in at least 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience within complex IT infrastructure environments.
• You have extensive knowledge of the products listed below and the associated management tooling certification in one or more of these products is a plus.
• Cisco Nexus and Arista switches (with protocols such as BGP, OSPF, IS-IS).
• Check Point, Palo Alto.
• A10 load balancer.
• Aruba ClearPass & Wireless.

• Experience with Ansible is a plus.. To make a difference in this role, you recognise yourself in the following competencies:

• Type of contract is indefinite.
• A salary in scale 7: €4,211 to €7,447 per month (based on a 40-hour work week).
• A solid pension through ABP, with 70% of the premium paid by us.
• 43 vacation days per year.

• Welkom bij TenneT Nadat alles rond is ga je op de eerste van de maand starten met jouw onboarding bij TenneT. Twee dagen met al jouw nieuwe collega’s om te ontdekken wie TenneT is en hoe wij werken. Je leert alle ins & outs kennen. Daarna ga je verder met onboarden binnen je team.
