Riverside Research is seeking a motivated and innovative Entry-Level Software Engineer to join our Sensor and Systems Business Unit in Fairfax, Virginia. This part-time role is open to individuals who are currently pursuing a degree or have equivalent experience in software engineering or a related field. The primary focus of this role will be on developing AI agents, conducting research on large language models (LLMs), and creating rapid prototypes to support our cutting-edge projects., * Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
• Basic understanding of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and large language models.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
• Ability to work independently, managing time effectively to meet project deadlines.

$53,600 - $70,000 This represents the typical compensation range for this position based on experience, location and other factors.
