Sr Manager, Data Platform & Decision Support

Experteer Overview In this role you lead the Data Platform & Decision Support pillar, shaping the analytics platform and BI delivery to empower the business. You guide cross-functional pods serving Commercial and SCOPs, while partnering with architects and engineers to improve performance and usability. You actively contribute hands-on when needed and drive AI/automation to accelerate analytics and decision support. Compensation / Benefits * Own the analytics data platform: reliability, performance, usability, and cost * Set data engineering and modeling standards with emphasis on semantic/business-layer modeling * Lead end-to-end analytics product delivery (BI/decision support) and manage product roadmap * Hands-on engineering contribution when required and design/review semantic models * Champion AI and automation tools to enhance analytics development and BI insights * Partner with Commercial and SCOPs stakeholders to translate business needs into products * Lead, coach, and grow the Product Owner and Developer team; coordinate managed-services partners * Collaborate with Scrum Master/PM to steer delivery and clear blockers Tasks * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data / Analytics, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field or equivalent practical experience * 10+ years in data engineering, analytics, or data-platform delivery * 33+ years of experience as a people manager, leading high-performing analytics teams * Strong data engineering background with semantic/business-layer modeling and decision support * Experience leading analytics data platforms (Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake) * Experience leading analytics product delivery, primarily BI * Product leadership experience with agile delivery and roadmap planning * Experience leading teams of Product Owners and Developers * Willingness to be hands-on (player-coach); strong business-facing experience in Commercial/SCOPs * Interest in AI and automation tooling for BI analytics and decision support * Interest or experience in prompt engineering for technical and business stakeholders Key requirements * medical, dental and vision benefits * life and disability insurance * 401k participation * paid holidays * paid time off * bonus or incentive programs
