Record to Report Architect (Finance Solution Architect)

STAFFXPERT LLC is seeking a Record to Report Architect (Finance Solution Architect) on behalf of our client in Marysville, Ohio. This role will lead the Finance workstream for a large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation initiative, driving the design and implementation of future-state finance processes, enterprise solution architecture, governance frameworks, and reporting strategies. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in SAP Finance solutions and a proven track record of leading finance transformation programs in complex enterprise environments. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Finance workstream and define the future-state finance operating model for an enterprise SAP S/4HANA transformation.

• Design and own end-to-end SAP Finance solution architecture across key financial domains, including:

• General Ledger (GL)
• Accounts Payable (AP)
• Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Asset Accounting
• Cost Accounting
• Profitability Analysis (COPA)
• Treasury and Cash Management
• Financial Planning and Reporting
• Establish enterprise finance structures, including organizational hierarchies, master data standards, chart of accounts, and governance frameworks.
• Define and optimize finance business processes supporting financial close, compliance, audit readiness, internal controls, and consolidation activities.
• Develop reporting and analytics strategies leveraging SAP S/4HANA Finance capabilities.
• Collaborate with Finance and IT leadership to align business objectives with scalable SAP solutions and standardized processes.
• Lead finance data migration planning, reconciliation activities, cutover preparation, and deployment support.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration across Finance, Procurement, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Sales functions.
• Provide architectural leadership, governance, and best practices throughout the transformation lifecycle., * Play a key leadership role in a high-impact SAP S/4HANA transformation program.
• Influence enterprise-wide finance strategy, architecture, and operational modernization.
• Collaborate with senior business and technology leaders in a dynamic transformation environment.
• Contribute to the design of scalable, future-ready finance solutions that drive business value.

• 10+ years of SAP Finance experience with strong expertise in SAP FI/CO and SAP S/4HANA Finance.
• Proven experience leading Finance workstreams for SAP implementations, upgrades, or enterprise transformation programs.
• Strong knowledge of financial accounting, controlling, planning, governance, compliance, and reporting processes.
• Demonstrated experience designing enterprise-scale finance solutions and end-to-end business processes.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, and business process transformation skills.
• Experience with SAP Signavio and SAP Cloud ALM.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with executive leadership, business teams, and technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Solution Architect or Enterprise Architect role.
• SAP S/4HANA Finance Certification.
• Experience supporting large-scale manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of enterprise financial reporting, analytics, and performance management platforms.
• Experience with complex, global SAP transformation initiatives.
