Product Owner IT

As a Product Owner, you maximize the value of our Unified Commercial Platform for the entire organization. The websites are your primary focus, which means you work closely with marketing to strengthen online growth and user experience. You connect all stakeholders across the various development phases and ensure your product contributes to our strategic goals. Together with the Business Analyst, you translate needs and requirements into clear user stories for your development team of both internal and external colleagues, which you lead functionally. You build strong relationships with stakeholders, maintain a clear overview of the platform, and work closely with other Product Owners, Business Analysts, and stakeholders. You report directly to the Manager Business IT.

A few examples of what you will do:

• You collaboratively define the vision and strategy for the Commercial Platform and translate it into a concrete roadmap.
• You manage and prioritize the product backlog based on customer value, business goals, and risk.
• Together with the Business Analyst, you translate needs from marketing and other stakeholders into actionable user stories for the development team.
• You keep track of the product budget and Total Cost of Ownership and steer on value.
• You monitor the performance of the websites throughout the entire lifecycle and adjust where needed.
• You engage, inform, and persuade the right stakeholders.
• You share knowledge within the team and coach colleagues in the agile way of working.

• have a bachelor’s (HBO) level of working and thinking, with 3 to 7 years of experience as a Product Owner or in a comparable role.
• are a strong analytical thinker with proven stakeholder management skills.
• have experience functionally leading teams in an IT environment.
• have an affinity with websites, digital platforms, and marketing.
• combine strategic insight with decisiveness and a helicopter view.
• quickly grasp a wide range of topics and initiatives.
• are an advocate of agile working and continuous improvement.
• are preferably PSPO or PSPO-A certified, where certifications such as PAL-E, SAFe, or Agile-related certifications are a strong plus.
• have an excellent understanding of English, both written and spoken. understanding of Dutch is a plus.
• reside in the Netherlands and have permanent residency and unrestricted authorization to work in the Netherlands.
