Data Migration - SQL Server / Teradata

• We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to support the migration of SQL Server tables, SSIS packages, and SQL Agent jobs to Teradata and/or Snowflake. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SQL development, ETL modernization, data lineage, reverse engineering, cross-platform SQL conversion, and data validation., * Analyze existing SQL Server databases, tables, views, stored procedures, SSIS packages, and SQL Agent jobs.
• Reverse engineer legacy ETL processes and document end-to-end data flows.
• Identify data dependencies, business rules, risks, and transformation logic.
• Convert SQL and ETL logic from SQL Server/Oracle to Teradata and/or Snowflake.
• Support migration of historical and business-critical data.
• Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality testing.
• Ensure migrated solutions preserve existing business logic and reporting behavior.
• Support architecture reviews, implementation activities, and production cutover.
• Troubleshoot migration issues and optimize SQL queries for target platforms.
• Collaborate with technical teams, project leadership, and business stakeholders to ensure successful migration outcomes.

• The candidate must be capable of analyzing complex legacy ETL processes, understanding existing business logic, and migrating critical data and reporting functionality while ensuring accuracy and consistency across platforms.
