Data Migration Engineer

Seeking a Data Migration Engineer to support enterprise data modernization initiatives involving large-scale migration of legacy systems into modern cloud platforms. This role will focus on one-time and phased mass data migration efforts, ensuring zero data loss, strict adherence to data mapping rules, and seamless production cutovers.

• Strong hands-on Data Migration experience is mandatory
• Experience with enterprise-scale legacy system migrations preferred
• AWS and Azure cloud migration expertise highly preferred

• Looking for candidates with extensive ETL/ELT pipeline development and cutover execution experience, The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in ETL/ELT development, data engineering, cloud migration, Oracle databases, AWS, Azure, and enterprise data quality practices while working closely with Business Analysts, Architects, and cross-functional Agile teams. Required:

• 5+ years of Data Engineering and ETL/ELT development experience
• Large-scale Data Migration experience from legacy relational databases
• Advanced SQL expertise
• Strong Python programming experience
• Oracle Database experience
• AWS Database Migration Service (AWS DMS)
• Databricks experience
• AWS RDS experience
• Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2 (ADLS Gen2)
• ETL/ELT Pipeline Development
• Data Cleansing, Standardization, and Validation
• Data Modeling and Database Design
• Data Reconciliation and Cutover Planning
• IAM, RBAC, Microsoft Entra ID, and AWS KMS security implementation
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
