Job description

Step into a role where cloud engineering and automation come together to power high-performing technology platforms. We’re looking for a Cloud DevOps Engineer to build reliable infrastructure, improve deployment processes, and help engineering teams deliver faster and more securely.

You’ll work across cloud, software engineering, security, and platform operations, taking ownership of automation and infrastructure improvements that have a visible business impact. This is a strong opportunity to work with modern cloud technologies, solve complex technical challenges, and build deeper expertise toward Senior DevOps Engineer, Cloud Architect, Platform Engineer, or technical leadership.

What You’ll Build

  • Design and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, CloudFormation, Bicep, or similar tools.
  • Build and improve CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.
  • Manage containerised workloads using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Improve cloud security through IAM, secrets management, encryption, and access controls.
  • Develop monitoring and observability using CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar platforms.
  • Support cloud migrations, infrastructure modernisation, and platform engineering initiatives.
  • Troubleshoot complex deployment, availability, performance, and production issues.
  • Improve infrastructure reliability, automation, scalability, and cost efficiency.
  • Collaborate with developers to strengthen DevOps practices and delivery workflows.
  • Support incident response, root-cause analysis, and continuous operational improvement.
  • Contribute to cloud architecture, engineering standards, and technical documentation.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, platform engineering, or infrastructure automation.
  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Practical experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
  • Strong knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Linux, and cloud networking.
  • Experience with CI/CD platforms such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.
  • Scripting skills using Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar technologies.
  • Understanding of cloud security, IAM, networking, high availability, and disaster recovery.
  • Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability tools.
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical abilities.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, Terraform, or related certifications are advantageous.
  • Candidates must have the legal right to work in the United Kingdom.
