System Validation Engineer

• Developing and executing validation test protocols according to IEC 62304 and FDA design control requirements
• Performing system testing and documenting test results to demonstrate device safety and effectiveness
• Collaborating with engineering and quality teams to identify and resolve validation issues
• Maintaining validation documentation, traceability matrices and compliance records
• Supporting regulatory submissions with validation evidence and test reports
• Contributing to design verification and validation activities throughout the product lifecycle

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related STEM discipline
• Experience in validation or quality assurance, preferably within a regulated medical device or life sciences environment
• Working knowledge of ISO 13485, IEC 62304 and Class III medical device standards
• Familiarity with test planning, test execution and validation documentation
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work methodically with complex regulatory requirements
• Authorization to work in the United Kingdom

• Direct involvement in ensuring Class III medical devices meet rigorous safety and quality standards
• Exposure to regulated product development and real-world validation challenges

• Contract flexibility and day rate of £300-400 per day, dependent on experience
