Cyber Security Analyst

Due to continued growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an Information Security & Cyber Assistant to join a growing Information Security team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone at the early stages of their career who wants to develop specialist skills within an increasingly important area of business.

Reporting to the Information Security Manager and working as part of the wider Operations team, you will provide operational and administrative support across Information Security, Cyber, Data Protection, Supplier Assurance, Risk, Compliance and Governance.

You will help ensure assessments, audits, actions, supplier reviews, compliance records and reporting are completed accurately and maintained to a high standard.

What will you be doing?

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting Information Security and governance processes and maintaining accurate records
• Assisting with Data Protection and privacy-related activities
• Supporting supplier due diligence, assurance and risk assessments
• Maintaining risk, compliance and governance documentation
• Coordinating actions arising from audits, assessments and security reviews
• Supporting cyber security processes and internal initiatives
• Producing reports and management information
• Monitoring actions, deadlines and KPIs
• Helping prepare for internal and external audits
• Liaising with colleagues and suppliers to obtain information and challenge gaps where appropriate
• Supporting the wider Information Security and Operations teams with ongoing projects

Applicants will have some experience within Information Security, ISO27001 exposure, risk, data protection and want to develop further. A Cyber Security degree or a passion exposure to this are is key.
