Job description

Cloud specialists shape how organisations build, deploy and scale modern applications in the cloud. This is an opportunity to register your interest in future Cloud Specialist roles, where you could deliver infrastructure and application solutions using platforms like Azure, AWS and GCP, working with technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD pipelines and microservices architecture., Roles of this type typically sit within engineering or infrastructure teams working on cloud-native transformation, modernisation or greenfield projects. You could be working on designing and implementing cloud solutions, optimising containerised workloads, building deployment pipelines, or integrating enterprise systems with cloud platforms. The work could span infrastructure automation, application deployment, monitoring and support for distributed systems, often in collaborative, technically engaged environments where cloud architecture directly enables business delivery., * Designing and implementing cloud infrastructure solutions using Azure, AWS or GCP

  • Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment and testing
  • Containerising applications using Docker and orchestrating them with Kubernetes
  • Supporting the design and delivery of microservices and API-driven architectures
  • Collaborating with development teams to optimise application performance in cloud environments
  • Managing infrastructure automation using tools such as Terraform
  • Monitoring, troubleshooting and supporting cloud-based systems and distributed architectures
  • Contributing to architecture decisions and cloud strategy within your team

Requirements

  • Practical experience with cloud platforms: Azure, AWS or GCP
  • Working knowledge of containerisation (Docker) and container orchestration (Kubernetes)
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and practices, including build and deployment automation
  • Understanding of microservices architecture and APIs
  • Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code concepts and tools such as Terraform
  • Scripting or programming experience (Bash, Python, or similar)
  • Strong understanding of networking, Linux and Windows administration
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience

Nice-to-have

  • Experience with .NET, Java, Spring Boot or React
  • AWS Solutions Architect Associate certification or equivalent
  • Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC or SAP RISE cloud migrations
  • Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Experience with data pipelines, data quality or analytics platforms
  • Familiarity with enterprise security architecture or CSDR
