Job description
Roles of this type may sit within fast-moving technology teams supporting enterprise organisations through cloud transformation initiatives. The work could involve designing and implementing cloud solutions across Azure, AWS and GCP environments, collaborating with architects and engineering teams to deliver microservices-based systems, and optimising infrastructure through containerisation and orchestration technologies. You could contribute to the full lifecycle of cloud delivery, from architecture and design through to deployment and operational support., * Designing and implementing cloud solutions on Azure, AWS and GCP platforms
- Building and optimising containerised applications using Docker and Kubernetes
- Establishing and managing CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment and testing
- Implementing infrastructure-as-code using Terraform and related tooling
- Developing microservices-based architectures and distributed systems
- Supporting API design and integration across enterprise systems
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align cloud strategy with business objectives
- Troubleshooting and optimising cloud infrastructure performance and cost
- Contributing to security and compliance standards within cloud environments
Requirements
- Hands-on experience designing and deploying applications on Azure, AWS or GCP
- Strong working knowledge of containerisation (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Experience with CI/CD tools and practices in cloud environments
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Java or similar
- Understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline
- Authorization to work in the United Kingdom
Nice-to-have
- Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- AWS Solutions Architect Associate certification or equivalent
- Experience with .NET, ASP.NET, Spring Boot or similar frameworks
- Knowledge of data pipeline architecture and data quality practices
- Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC or SAP RISE environments
- Experience with monitoring, logging and observability tooling
- Linux and Windows system administration experience
