Data BA

Roles of this type may sit within collaborative delivery teams working on data transformation, system integration or analytics modernisation programmes. You could find yourself gathering data requirements from stakeholders across business and technical functions, analysing data quality challenges, aligning pipeline design with business outcomes, and ensuring data flows meet both technical and compliance standards. The work could span cloud platforms like Azure, AWS and GCP, with exposure to microservices, APIs and distributed systems architecture., * Gathering and documenting data requirements from business and technical stakeholders

• Analysing data quality issues and recommending solutions to improve data integrity
• Aligning data pipeline design with business objectives and technical constraints
• Engaging with stakeholders across business, engineering and analytics teams
• Translating business problems into data-driven requirements and acceptance criteria
• Supporting the definition of data models, APIs and microservices architectures
• Documenting requirements using industry standards such as BPMN and UML

• Working knowledge of data pipelines, data quality frameworks and pipeline alignment
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS or GCP
• Understanding of microservices, APIs and distributed systems concepts
• Competence with SQL and experience working with structured data
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field

Nice-to-have experience could include:

• Hands-on exposure to CI/CD, containerisation tools such as Docker and Kubernetes, or infrastructure-as-code such as Terraform
• Familiarity with analytics and visualisation tools such as Power BI
• Knowledge of SAP systems (S/4HANA, ECC, RISE) in data contexts
• Scripting or programming exposure in languages such as Python, Bash or .NET
• Understanding of CSDR, compliance frameworks or data governance standards
• Linux or Windows system administration background
