Cloud Engineer

The Platform Engineer (Mid-Level) is an engineering role on the newly established Client Platform Services team. This role contributes directly to building, operating, and maintaining the internal platform that enables development and operations teams to ship software faster and more reliably. The candidate will work under the guidance of the Lead and Senior Platform Engineers in a structured, mentorship-rich environment.

— Day-to-Day Tasks —

1. Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines supporting development team delivery workflows

2. Author and maintain Terraform code for Google Cloud Platform infrastructure provisioning following established standards and patterns

3. Support and maintain existing Salesforce/GearSet deployment pipelines, including troubleshooting and documentation

4. Maintain the SonarQube and GitHub integration for static code analysis and security scanning

5. Manage build artifacts using Google Cloud Platform Artifact Registry

6. Support the observability stack including Splunk log forwarding, monitoring, and alerting

7. Support GKE cluster operations including workload deployments and namespace management

8. Manage Google Cloud Platform resources including compute, networking, IAM, and secrets management across dev, test, and production environments

9. Migrate manually provisioned Google Cloud Platform resources into Terraform
10. Participate in Agile ceremonies and sprint delivery

60 months of experience in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, or systems administration, including at least 2 years in a public cloud environment (Google Cloud Platform preferred; AWS or Azure considered) 36 months of experience with Google Cloud Platform, including Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, VPC networking, IAM, and Secret Manager 36 months of experience with Terraform, including reading, writing, and modifying infrastructure code within established patterns 36 months of experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Cloud Build, GitHub Actions, or equivalent 36 monthsof experience with GitHub and Git workflows, including pull requests and branch management 24 months of experience in an Agile delivery environment, including sprint ceremonies and iterative delivery 12 months of experience with Splunk for log analysis and observability 12 months of experience with static code analysis tools such as SonarQube within a CI/CD pipeline
