Requirements

  • Business Analysis Leadership: Proven experience operating as a Principal/Lead Business Analyst across large-scale, complex digital transformation programmes.
  • BA Practice Leadership: Experience leading, mentoring and assuring the work of Business Analysts, establishing consistent standards, methods and quality across delivery teams.
  • Requirements & Analysis: Expert capability in eliciting, analysing, documenting and prioritising complex business, user and functional/non-functional requirements.
  • Operating Model & Process Design: Strong experience analysing as-is/to-be processes, operating models, capabilities, user journeys and organisational impacts.
  • Digital Transformation: Demonstrable experience supporting major technology-enabled transformation, service redesign and legacy modernisation programmes.
  • Senior Stakeholder Management: Ability to facilitate workshops, challenge assumptions and build consensus across senior business, digital, technology and operational stakeholders.
  • Delivery Lifecycle: Strong experience working across Discovery, Alpha, Beta and Live, collaborating with Product, Delivery, Architecture, UCD and Engineering teams.

Desirable Skills

  • Previous Central Government or wider UK Public Sector transformation experience.
  • Strong understanding of GDS Service Standard, Service Manual and government digital delivery approaches.
  • Experience working across cross-government, multi-agency or highly complex stakeholder environments.
  • Experience supporting business cases, benefits realisation and transformation roadmaps.
  • Knowledge of Agile, Lean and user-centred design methodologies.
  • Experience defining and embedding business analysis standards, communities of practice and capability development.
  • Relevant qualification such as BCS Business Analysis, IIBA, Agile BA or equivalent.
  • Security Clearance: Willing and eligible to obtain SC clearance; active SC clearance advantageous.

Our client operates hybrid working 2-3 days in London, with occasional client site visits will be required into Glasgow.
