Requirements

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum 5+ years of professional software development experience.
  • Core Tech: Strong proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript on the server side, with solid hands-on experience in React on the frontend.
  • Cloud Native: Significant experience building and running production systems on AWS (or major public cloud).
  • Architecture: Deep understanding of Microservices and event-driven architectures, including API design and contract management.
  • Engineering Best Practices: Strong grounding in testing (Unit/Integration/E2E), CI/CD, and Observability.
  • Communication: Excellent ability to explain complex technical topics to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in e-commerce, search, ranking, or marketplace domains.
  • Previous work with User-Generated Content (UGC), reviews, or recommendation engines.
  • Experience with A/B testing and data-driven product development.
