Fullstack Developer

Our client, a leading organisation within the insurance sector, is seeking an experienced Full Stack Frontend Developer to support the delivery of modern digital platforms and customer-facing applications. This role will focus on building intuitive, scalable, and high-performance user interfaces that support key insurance services, including customer portals, policy management, underwriting workflows, and claims-related journeys.

Working within a cross-functional product team, you’ll collaborate closely with Back End engineers, architects, UX designers, and business stakeholders to deliver secure, data-driven solutions in a highly regulated environment.

Nice to Have Next.js AI integrations (OpenAI, Azure AI, or similar), Develop, enhance, and maintain scalable React-based applications supporting key insurance operations Build reusable UI components and shared Front End libraries aligned to design system standards Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to deliver seamless digital customer experiences Integrate Front End applications with policy, claims, and customer data services via APIs Ensure code quality through testing, peer reviews, and engineering best practices Optimise applications for performance, accessibility, scalability, and security

Strong commercial experience building enterprise-grade Front End applications using React Advanced JavaScript and TypeScript development skills Solid understanding of responsive design, modern UI development, HTML5, and CSS3 Experience developing reusable component libraries and scalable Front End architectures Proven experience integrating RESTful APIs, GraphQL services, and third-party platforms Experience with state management solutions such as Redux or Zustand Strong focus on application performance, accessibility, security, and user experience Experience working in regulated environments such as Insurance, Financial Services, Banking, or FinTech Experience with automated testing frameworks including Jest, Cypress, or Playwright Familiarity with Git-based workflows and CI/CD pipelines
