Job description

Lloyd Recruitment Services is delighted to be partnering with an established and expanding Managed Service Provider in Camberley. With years of experience supporting SMEs across the UK, our client has built an excellent reputation for delivering first-class IT support and solutions., As a 1st Line Support professional, you will be the first point of contact for customers requiring technical assistance. You will provide support via telephone, email and remote access tools, troubleshooting a wide range of IT issues while delivering excellent customer service.

Working within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs), you will diagnose and resolve technical problems, maintain accurate support records and escalate more complex issues when required.

This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your technical skills, gain exposure to a wide range of technologies and progress your career within a successful MSP environment., * Provide 1st Line support for Windows desktops, laptops, hardware and software

  • Troubleshoot hardware, software and Microsoft 365 issues
  • Support Microsoft 365 administration, including user accounts, licences, permissions and applications
  • Diagnose and resolve desktop, networking and connectivity issues
  • Escalate technical issues where required
  • Manage and update support tickets through the Helpdesk system
  • Create and maintain user and system documentation
  • Provide remote support and occasional customer site visits when required

Requirements

They are now looking for a 1st Line Support professional to join their friendly technical team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with around 12 months’ IT support experience, proven troubleshooting skills, and a genuine passion for technology and customer service., * Around 1 year’s experience in a 1st Line Support, IT Support, Helpdesk or Service Desk role

  • Hands-on troubleshooting experience with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Windows Desktop Operating Systems
  • Experience supporting Microsoft Office and Microsoft 365
  • Understanding of basic networking principles, including TCP/IP and DNS
  • Knowledge of Active Directory, user accounts and permissions
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to prioritise workloads and manage multiple support tickets
  • A logical approach to problem-solving with strong attention to detail
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to learn

Desirable Skills

  • Microsoft Server knowledge
  • SharePoint experience
  • Antivirus and backup software knowledge
  • Printer troubleshooting experience
  • Previous experience working within an MSP environment
