Solutions Architect

Our client is seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to lead technical solution design and pre-sales support for industrial automation projects across the UAE and wider region. The role will focus on control and automation technologies including DCS, PLC, SIS, and SCADA systems. Work Location United Arab Emirates - Hybrid Working Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to understand their operational and technical requirements, translating their needs into clear technical specifications and comprehensive solution proposals.
• Design end-to-end industrial control and automation architectures incorporating DCS, PLC, SIS, SCADA, and related process automation technologies.
• Lead technical presentations, solution workshops, and product demonstrations tailored to customer requirements.
• Act as the primary technical point of contact during the bidding and tendering process, providing technical clarification, responding to customer queries, and supporting the commercial team in securing new projects.
• Prepare high-quality technical documentation, including solution proposals, system architecture documents, technical manuals, tender responses, and customer training materials.
• Ensure all technical deliverables are adapted to the specific requirements of each customer and project.
• Work closely with product and engineering teams to share customer feedback, market trends, and emerging technical requirements.
• Coordinate with project execution and delivery teams to evaluate solution feasibility and support the smooth transition from pre-sales to project implementation.

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Automation, Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics, or a related discipline.
• At least three years of experience in industrial automation, including DCS, PLC, SCADA, SIS, or OT/IT integration.
• Experience supporting Industry 4.0, digitalisation, or smart factory projects would be highly advantageous.
• Knowledge of IT infrastructure, artificial intelligence, cloud technologies, or SaaS business models would be considered a strong advantage.
• Strong technical presentation, proposal-writing, communication, and stakeholder-management skills, with experience supporting pre-sales, tenders, or bidding activities.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally when required to support customer meetings, project activities, and business development.
• Fluent English is required. Chinese and/or Arabic language skills would be advantageous.
