Systems Administrator

The Windows Systems and Active Directory Administrator sustains Windows servers, Active Directory services, service accounts, Group Policy, system security, patching, and configuration baselines supporting FMWorkFlow., * Windows Server.

• Active Directory.
• Group Policy.
• Service accounts.
• Nutanix-hosted virtual machines.
• Enterprise patch-management tools.
• IAVA, TCNO, and directive tracking.
• Backup, recovery, antivirus, logging, and monitoring tools.

Essential Duties

• Install, configure, administer, and troubleshoot Windows servers.
• Administer Active Directory objects, services, Group Policies, and service accounts.
• Maintain system baselines and technical configuration records.
• Test, deploy, and validate security patches and directives.
• Investigate system performance degradation and failures.
• Analyze Windows event logs and system logs.
• Support backup, restoration, resilience, and COOP requirements.
• Coordinate privileged service accounts with the CyberArk team.
• Support vulnerability remediation and compliance validation.
• Perform emergency corrective actions and post-change validation.
• Maintain secure development, test, and production configurations.
• Assist with security incidents and investigations.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $94,552.77 per year

• Five years of Windows Server administration.
• Three years administering Active Directory in an enterprise environment.
• Experience with service accounts, Group Policy, patching, troubleshooting, backup, and recovery.
• DoD systems-administration experience preferred.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, information systems, or a related discipline.
• Associate degree with additional specialized experience may be acceptable.

Certification

• DoD 8570 IAT Level II or applicable DoD 8140 451-Intermediate qualification.
• Security+ or an equivalent approved baseline certification.
• Microsoft Windows Server or Azure-related certification preferred but not mandated., * Associate (Preferred), * System administration: 5 years (Preferred)
• DoD Federal Contract: 5 years (Preferred)
• Active Directory: 3 years (Preferred)
• service accounts, group policy, patching, troubleshooting: 5 years (Preferred)
• Backup and Recovery: 5 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Dod 8570 IAT Level II or DoD 8140 451-Intermediate or Sec+ (Preferred)
