Variable Data Printing (VDP) Specialist

This role will work closely with account management, prepress, estimating, production, and mailing departments to ensure accuracy, efficiency, postal compliance, and on-time delivery., Program and execute variable print campaigns including:

• Personalized postcards
• Direct mail
• Statements
• Letters
• Newsletters
• Loyalty and continuity programs
• Casino and gaming mail campaigns
• Develop and troubleshoot VDP templates and logic
• Configure conditional rules, personalization triggers, and dynamic content
• Validate variable data fields prior to production
• Identify and troubleshoot data inconsistencies or formatting issues
• Support digital print workflows on high-speed production equipment
• Work with barcodes, QR codes, intelligent mail barcodes, and tracking technologies

Software & Workflow Management

• Operate within digital print and workflow systems
• Collaborate with prepress and production teams to ensure file readiness
• Maintain organized file structures and version control
• Assist with workflow automation and process improvements
• Support storefront and web-to-print variable workflows where applicable

Production Coordination

• Verify proof accuracy before release to production
• Coordinate deadlines with production scheduling
• Assist with troubleshooting live production issues
• Ensure jobs meet quality standards, postal regulations, and customer specifications

Do you have experience in Technical troubleshooting support?, Experience in:

• Variable Data Printing
• Direct Mail Production
• Database Management
• Strong understanding of commercial print production workflows
• Experience manipulating large data files
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced production environment
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid environment
