Mail Data Specialist

PrintMailPro is seeking a detail-oriented Mail Data Specialist to join our production team. This position is responsible for processing customer data files for digital print and direct mail production, ensuring mailing accuracy, USPS compliance, and on-time delivery., * Analyze and validate incoming customer data files for completeness and accuracy.

• Process customer mailing lists using industry-standard data management practices.
• Perform CASS certification, NCOA®, merge/purge, duplicate elimination, and postal presort processing.
• Prepare mailing files for digital print production and USPS acceptance.
• Organize, manage, and archive input/output files according to company procedures.
• Create and maintain variable-data letter templates and workflow documentation.
• Verify data integrity and perform quality assurance checks before production.
• Troubleshoot data issues and resolve file inconsistencies.
• Collaborate with Customer Service, Production, and Mailing departments to ensure successful project completion.
• Meet production schedules while maintaining exceptional accuracy and quality.
• Maintain confidentiality of customer information and follow all company security procedures.

The ideal candidate has experience with data processing, variable data printing, postal software BCC Mail Manager or Accuzip, and database management. Accuracy, organization, and problem-solving skills are essential in this fast-paced production environment., * High school diploma or GED required.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in print and mail data processing preferred.
• Experience with BCC Mail Manager is required.
• Working knowledge of:
• CASS Certification
• NCOA® Processing
• Merge/Purge
• USPS postal regulations and mailing requirements
• Variable data printing
• Experience with database management and file manipulation.
• Strong proficiency with:
• Microsoft Excel
• Microsoft Word
• BCC Mail Manager
• Comfortable working in an IT and production environment.
• Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Experience

Experience with one or more of the following is a plus:

• Variable data composition software
• Direct mail production workflows
• Digital print production
• USPS Intelligent Mail Barcode (IMb)
• Address quality and postal optimization
• Commercial printing or mailing industry, * Ability to reliably commute to our Austin facility.
• Background check required as a condition of employment.
