Job description

  • Design, develop, enhance, and maintain embedded firmware solutions while ensuring software quality, performance, and architectural integrity.
  • Evaluate existing applications and firmware platforms to identify opportunities for optimization, scalability, and feature enhancement.
  • Refactor and optimize code to improve resource utilization, maintainability, and system performance.
  • Establish and promote coding standards, development methodologies, tools, and best practices to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Perform unit testing, debugging, verification, and validation activities throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues identified during internal testing, field deployments, or customer-reported incidents.
  • Prepare technical documentation, progress reports, release notes, and project estimates.
  • Contribute to verification and validation planning, execution, and compliance activities.
  • Manage firmware version control, software releases, and update processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives, schedules, and deliverables are met.
  • Partner with Product Management and Engineering teams to evaluate the feasibility of new features, enhancements, and applications.
  • Develop, integrate, and maintain software frameworks, middleware, device drivers, and other critical firmware components.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentor junior engineers, and support knowledge-sharing initiatives.
  • Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Take ownership of additional responsibilities and technical challenges as project requirements evolve.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics, Embedded Systems, or a related technical discipline.
  • Equivalent combinations of education and relevant industry experience will also be considered., * QNX and RTOS: 1 year (Required)
