We are seeking a Java Developer to support a high?visibility collections platform replacement initiative for a large financial client. This is a tier?one program with a fast pace of delivery and frequent changes, requiring strong adaptability and technical execution. The selected candidate will join one of five agile teams within the program (Crew 4) and will contribute to the design, development, and delivery of modern microservices-based solutions., * Develop, enhance, and maintain Java/Spring Boot microservices in a distributed architecture.

• Translate business requirements into technical user stories and deliverables.
• Perform unit testing and validation to ensure code quality and system reliability.
• Collaborate closely with cross?functional teams to support end?to?end development and delivery.
• Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand?ups, and retrospectives.
• Support integration efforts across services, particularly involving event-driven architecture (Kafka) and database interactions.

Do you have experience in Spring Boot?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, * 6-7+ years of hands-on Java development experience (Level 3).

• Strong experience with:
• Java
• Spring Boot
• Microservices architecture
• SQL / relational databases
• Kafka (event streaming / messaging)
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
• Bachelor’s degree required (or equivalent work experience).

Preferred / Nice to Have Skills

• Experience with:
• Angular (UI integration)
• MongoDB / NoSQL databases
• Prior experience working for or with large financial institutions preferred.
• Previous experience within the client environment is a strong plus.

Soft Skills

• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving program.
