Requirements

Do you have a valid Driver’s License license?, Do you have experience in Wireless networking?, Do you have a Associate’s degree?, * Associate’s degree in computer-related field or a minimum of 2 years’ professional experience in providing relevant information technology services in a business environment.

  • Exceptional customer focused service skills.
  • In addition to demonstrating strong technical skills in Windows 11, basic networking skills (wired and wireless) and experience in troubleshooting of computer hardware, printers, scanners, projectors, peripherals, and mobile technologies are essential.
  • Ability to prioritize daily tasks with long-term projects and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Exhibit a personality that demonstrates interpersonal skills to relate well with students, staff, administration, parents, and the community
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Accomplished in problem identification and problem-solving techniques relating to the use of supported end-user hardware, software, and peripherals.
  • Ability to work with staff and students.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Self-starter and self-learner.
  • Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Director of Information Technology may deem appropriate.
  • Ability to lift (up to 50 lbs.), climb/work on OSHA approved ladders, carry/move equipment.
  • Travels purposefully, efficiently, and independently to fulfill the responsibilities of the position.
  • Possession of a driver’s license is essential.
  • Ability to lift (up to 50 lbs.), climb/work on OSHA approved ladders, carry/move equipment, run network cabling.
  • Functions within the policies and procedures of the Washington Township Board of Education.
  • Accept other responsibilities as assigned.
  • Consistent attendance.
  • Comp TIA certifications.
